PIGMENTATION + SUN DAMAGE

What is it?

Pigmentation is the dysfunction of a melanocyte (the cell that gives the skin colour). This dysfunction happens over time for various reasons including: pigment caused by over exposure to the sun and melasma/chloasma which can be caused by hormones and different types of medication. Pigmentation can be treated effectively over time to visibly reduce and clarify the skin with a treatment regime and prescribed home care.

 

We recommend booking a skin consult with one of our therapists to tailor a treatment plan to you skins concerns and needs combined with corrective home-care, helping to give you a more in depth understanding of your skin.
